Prospective Doctoral Students

I am not recruiting a doctoral student for the Clinical-Community Psychology Ph.D. program at the University of South Carolina to begin in Fall 2024.

Generally, applicants who have previous research experience and are broadly interested in child (mental and physical) health; parenting and family relationships; stress, adversity, and resilience; and/or community-engaged research would be a good fit for my lab. Individuals from historically marginalized or underrepresented backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.

Prospective students can learn more about my current and upcoming projects here. Information about the Clinical-Community Psychology program, including admission requirements, can be found here, and information about the Psychology Department is found here. My UofSC faculty profile is here.

Answers to frequently asked questions from prospective students can be found on this document:

Prospective Undergraduate Research Assistants

Current UofSC undergraduate students can get involved in research in my lab. If you are interested in learning more or applying, please email me with your CV or resume and a brief description of why you are interested in joining the lab.

There are lots of helpful resources through the USC Office of Undergraduate Research.
